For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue). (2 Peter 1:3 AMP)
As a child of God, there are things that you need to understand concerning what happened between the cross and the throne. God holds divine power which in turn He gave to us His children. This power which is at work inside us has bestowed or given us all things that are requisite and suited to life and godliness.
There is a part that you need to play and that is bringing yourself into the full knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. You may ask how do I do this? It is through the study and meditation of the word of God. Knowledge requires one to commit time to studying something. It is not attained just by being in an environment where the books are or in a library! You actually have to dig in and read the books for the knowledge to transfer from the books to you.
The Bible is the written word of God, through reading and meditating on it, you bring yourself to a full understanding of Him. This then brings you to the fullness of understanding of the work of His divine power in you. The knowledge of Him brings you to deeper understanding of your rights in Him. Many believers are going through life limited as to the things God has intended for them. This can mostly be attributed to the knowledge of the word they have allowed to work in them.
You can not depend on the knowledge of your pastor, prophet, evangelist or apostle. Their duty is to help in the impartation of knowledge and this resulting in you having a deeper and personal knowledge of Him resulting in the working of His promises in you. You have access to the God kind of life here on earth! You can walk in this divine life which experiences no lack of resources and vitality. This knowledge can place you in a position in which you walk in godliness, overcoming all form of sin and temptation.
I pray for you that you may come to the place of full knowledge of Him causing His divine power to work in you. May fullness of life and godliness abound in you in Jesus’ name.

I choose to embrace knowledge by committing myself to study and meditation of His word. Through this I access The life and godliness bestowed on me by His divine power.
