Ask of me!!
Psalms 2:8-9
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron;
thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
The book of Psalms if studied with enough focus contains a lot of prophetic messages. Today we move into day 10 and we want to now focus on the nations in our prayers.
The Lord tells us to ask Him for the heathens as an inheritance. Let’s look at another version :
Psalms 2:7 (MSB)
Let me tell you what GOD said next. He said, “You’re my son, And today is your birthday.
What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize?
You can command them all to dance for you, Or throw them out with tomorrow’s trash.”
For me, this represents winning souls into the kingdom. Spreading our prayers beyond ourselves to other nations.
Today Ukraine is at war, it needs your daily prayers. Thousands are dying. Ethiopia has been at a war for a long time, it needs your prayers. Crime is on the rise, prices are rising and new diseases are found daily. You have to ask.
As we pray today 👇🏾
🤲Let’s bring the war between Russia and Ukraine before the Lord. Let’s use our spiritual authority to get it to end. It has affected economies worldwide.
🤲Let’s pray against corruption in nations so that there will be development and not destruction.
🤲Pray for Ethiopia that the hand of the Lord will be mighty and the truce leads to peace.
🤲Pray for Southern Africa that there be understanding of each other in contrast to the xenophobic attacks we have been witnessing.
🤲Pray for great harvests, rains and jobs to open up for young people.
🤲Pray for ideas that will lead to new industries in Africa so people can move from poverty to prosperity.
🤲Pray for all the other nations as the Spirit leads you.
