Light has come

From the Shepherd's Desk, Light has come by Charles Magaiza

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 4:16-17)

The ‘Dark Ages’ were between the 5th and 14th centuries, lasting 900 years. The timeline falls between the fall of the Roman Empire and the Renaissance.

In January 1901 something began. It was a transformation from Catholicism to Pentecostalism. Things that were lost in the dark ages were starting to be restored.

A dark atmosphere produces darkness and what we need is an atmosphere of light!

The Azusa street revival ignited something! A few days changed the darkness of almost 1,000 years! God is a God of time and when he intervenes, your story changes.

The message at Azusa Street revival included 5 points:

Justification, Sanctification, Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues, Divine healing, The second coming of Christ.

These things had disappeared for 900 years. Religion had gone above politics with the fall of the Roman Empire yet darkness controlled all.

The heavens were closed. The early church achievements were lost and writings were forgotten.
But our God does not fail. He always has a plan where there seems to be none.

The kingdom of God is at hand, a new atmosphere that the enemy can’t penetrate.
Fear not child of God your eyes are about to see a great light.

Light also represents revelation. The key is repentance for sin. Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

For 900 years the enemy tried but an awakening came. Lives were changed and transformed as they desired.

I believe we face another ATMOSPHERE. A revival greater than what the first church saw.

Are you ready?

The darkness is also the region and shadow of death. It is an atmosphere of limitation. But it can never 👎 STOP the GREAT LIGHT 💡

LIGHT IS SPRINGING UP! Jumping right into your situation.

What God established can not be wiped by time, war or anything.

Declare this
Thank you Lord for Light has come into my life. Darkness will not control my life anymore. Your promises have found a permanent home in my heart.
