Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it. (Ezekiel 36:36 KJV)
The word of the Lord is sure, everything else will pass away but His word remains. God wants you to pray for your enemies so they can see the hand of the Lord in your life. The Prophet Ezekiel in the above scripture is speaking directly into your situation under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
You might be looking at your life today and there are things that you can define as ruined. Maybe it’s your relationships, marriage, finances, business or dreams and expectations! Hear the word of the Lord today, the Lord Himself builds the ruined places and plants that that was desolate. He has spoken it and He will do it. You need to hold on to His word and to His promises, don’t let the enemy try and sway you making you look at the ruins! Child of God, answer the enemy and tell him Jehovah has the final say! His word is sure.
Hold on to your confession, there is nothing that does not change as you hold on to the Word. Hebrews 4:14 says, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.” The word profession here is the Greek word ‘homologia’ which means our confession. That garden of your challenge will be watered by your confession of God’s Word! Don’t concede to the devil’s push to get you to confess otherwise. Hold on to God’s word. Faith is what is going to give you the victory.
That ruined place is due for renewal. The Lord Himself will build it! He is planting that desolate place. Turning your desert into a fruitful ground and your hard ground into a fruitful field. I pray for your today that you see the joy ahead and that you receive the grace to ignore the way things are looking right now. Hold on to your confession!
Declare this,
I hold on to my confession, I refuse to be moved by the way things are looking. The Lord is building the ruined places and planting the desolate areas of my life. I refuse waive in my confession of the word of God.
