The power of prayer

From the Shepherd's Desk, Light has come by Charles Magaiza

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (Luke 21:36 KJV)

One of the most important protection barriers for a believer is prayer. It seems so hard but our Lord Jesus did it daily meaning by His grace we can do it too. At times He spent nights praying and after that He took action on His prayers. He healed the sick and preached the gospel.

Prayer ignites the power of God causing us to see and enjoy His promises. Prayer causes one to escape attacks of the enemy. Praying always is key, it blocks unnecessary focus on the work of the enemy and empowers you to see God at work in your own life.

Some have run down the prayers their parents and grandparents that they made for them and they wonder why the winds of the enemy keep targeting them. You are vulnerable. Open your eyes, watch and pray always! That provides the necessary cover. Your prayer might be loud prayer, it might be a silent prayer, a short prayer or a long prayer. Daily allow you the Holy Spirit to inspire you to pray the ones that are going to ensure that you move to the next level.

Declare this,

Lord help me to see the position that I hold in you. Cause me to sail with wings like an eagle in my prayers. I am grateful for the divine escapes that you always provide me through prayer in Jesus’ name.
