I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. (Mark 2:11)
The man was paralyzed, things had become difficult for him. In his natural eyes, he could see his life coming to an end. Though he had kept hope, nothing seemed to change. A miracle started to happen, Jesus came to Capernaum again. Our Lord never gives up, though His first experience in the place was met with unbelief, this time the story was different. The meeting place was full right to the door no one could go in. Multitudes yes, but were they all believers? There were spies, Pharisees who were there to judge every word He spoke.
Their intention was not to benefit from His teachings but to find something to condemn him with. However, there were four people who when they heard about Jesus being present, remembered their friend who was paralyzed. They went and lifted him on a bed and took him to the meeting point. They were full of faith that Jesus would solve this medical problem.
Upon arrival, there was no way in! Instead of turning back faith devised a plan. When you believe you don’t run out of ideas. They carried him up the roof. Broke the roof and with cords lowered their friend right in front of Jesus. Upon seeing the faith exhibited, he said to the man, ‘your sins are forgiven you.’ The judges that filled the church were infuriated. How can he speak like that? No man on earth can forgive sins! Jesus knew the words of their hearts.
To silence their judgment He spoke to the man to rise and take up his bed and go. His words are full of power! The man in belief listened and followed the instruction to the embarrassment of the critics and the joy of those behold believed Jesus could do it. I challenge you today, are you a judge or a believer? How far will your faith cause you to climb?
I pray for you that in Jesus you see that all things are possible. Throw away doubt and get hold of potent faith in Jesus. May all your past sins be forgiven and you see life in a new fashion.

I went on a bed without strength and paralyzed but because I believed I came back carrying my bed. Faith in Jesus and belief in His words made me to rise above my oppression. Thank you Lord for your love that brought total healing to me.
